FINCA, ASSOS

Designed in 2018, built in 2021.

Embedded into its flawless surrounding, the Finca in Pasakoy is designed to reflect pure simplicity and authenticity.

It deconstructs and re imagines the elements of a structure such as; door, window, roof and chimney. The house is carefully placed on site to face the hilltop of Assos; a historical village on one side and a huge oak tree on the other. The apertures, including the skylights are designed to both frame views and blur the delineation of interior and exterior.

The Finca reimagines the traditional methods of constructing by utilizing local stone and solid chunks of wood to redefine the stone house as a modern entity.
