DANIEL ARMITANO
NEW YORK
Architect and maker based in Brooklyn, Armitano creates work that is grounded in ecology and employs spatial and physical constructions to question the boundaries between built and natural environments as a territory for design. His experience covers many extremes, from analog hands-on craft such as clay, glass, bronze, wood, etc. to computation, biology lab studies, and performances. He is especially interested in the broad and unique historical precedents set by cultures in the making of his objects.
