ZEYNEP AROLAT
FOUNDER, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, BROOKLYN
Zeynep Arolat is an architect, furniture designer, and curator based in Brooklyn, New York.
She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute and a minor in Social Sciences. Following her professional experience at Ennead Architects, she founded ZAROLAT in 2018 — an independent design studio working across architecture, interiors, and furniture. In 2024, she opened ZAROLAT’s first studio and gallery in a historic DUMBO landmark, establishing a space for thoughtfully curated exhibitions that celebrates skillful design and artisanship, showcasing a diverse collection of works by an international community of architects, designers, artists, and makers.
BERİL TÜRK
CREATIVE ASSISTANT, İSTANBUL
Beril Türk (b. Bursa, Türkiye) began her creative journey with a degree in Interior Architecture before expanding her practice into art direction and social media.
As a constant traveler, she continues to build her career as a digital nomad, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures, creative perspectives and design approaches that shape her evolving visual language. For the past two years, she has been an important part of ZAROLAT working as a creative assistant, creating catalogs and supporting the studio and gallery's creative vision.
OLIMPIA PICCOLO
GALLERY OPERATIONS, BROOKLYN
Olimpia Piccolo (b. Rome, Italy) is a creative force working front of house at ZAROLAT’s studio and gallery space, focusing on operations and collector communications. With a background in editorial photography, she brings a considered eye for visual culture and a deep appreciation for contemporary art and design. Her experience spans editorial and commercial projects, fostering a thoughtful approach to storytelling, collaboration, and the presentation of visual work. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections between artists, collectors, and the broader creative community.
YİĞİT ERKAN
COMMUNICATIONS DESIGN, MILAN
Yiğit Erkan (b. Antalya, Türkiye) is based in Milan, Italy and studied Architecture before expanding his practice into communication design and visual storytelling. At ZAROLAT, he contributes to the gallery's editorial and digital communication, developing social media content, publications, and exhibition materials. His work brings together architecture, design, and storytelling to support the gallery's exhibitions, collaborations, and public programs.
