Inhabitual Atelier was founded with the vision of creating products that explore unconventional forms and materials. We are an experimental workshop dedicated to the design and production of unique, collectible furniture. Our creative process is deeply rooted in the intrinsic qualities of the materials we use, drawing inspiration from their raw essence. We focus on crafting furniture with atypical silhouettes that honor the natural character of each material. Rather than altering their fundamental nature, we seek to transform them through thoughtful design. Central to our methodology is the incorporation of artisanal techniques, ensuring that each piece we produce is truly one of a kind.

 

Inhabitual Atelier was founded by Daniela Buendía, an industrial designer from Mexico City. She has worked as an art director, graphic designer and interior designer. She is mainly focused on experimenting with materials and artisan processes. The studio was founded in 2020.
