Loaded with a fresh BFA in Photography from RISD, Philip Greenberg arrived in New York City and needed a darkroom and this started his career in photojournalism. He was on the pre-launch team that created the New York Observer, eventually moving to The New York Times, where he continued his work in street photography. He is based in Brooklyn.
