THE STUDY AT THE VILLA DEL SOFIO

Project by Charlotte Taylor & Nicholas Preaud

Carmen Chair by Zarolat

The Carmen Chair deconstructs and re-examines the different components of a chair: legs, seat, back. Using both materials in their rawest form, it combines 2 pieces of raw iron, carefully bent to form the structure of the chair, with 2 pieces of wood as the back and seat. Carmen challenges minimal design aesthetics with this simple yet compelling combination.

Available in 4 variants: the organic wooden forms slightly differ to create a playful scene around the table.

Made to order. Made in Istanbul.
